Some friends and I participated in this year’s Marble City Film Festival. The basic premise is this: We had 10 hours to write/produce/shoot/edit/submit our short film. We were given our genre and three special items at 8am Saturday morning. We then had until 6:30pm to finish the film and submit it on DVD to be screened later in the evening.
Our team consisted of Clark Buckner, Thomas Gentry, Melynne Denton, Andrew Cox, and I. I had a blast with this group, and I am impressed with what we were able to accomplish in such a small amount of time. We didn’t win anything, but we had a bunch of fun. Congratulations and well done to all the other films at the festival this year!
