A music video I helped shoot in my parents home of my sisters and their friends. It was a jolly good time. We shot with two Canon 7Ds + a Canon 60D. We used my homemade dolly for a few of the shots. Elisa Platillero did an excellent job with the edit.

The Walk In

A scene that has been bouncing around in my head for a couple of years. Thank you Andrew Cox & Nathan Chesney for making it just about as awesome as it was in my mind.

KARM: Corners of Your Field

“Now when you reap the harvest of your land you shall not reap to the very corners of your field, nor shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest. Nor shall you glean your vineyard, nor shall you gather the fallen fruit from your vineyard; you shall leave them for the needy and for the stranger. I am the LORD your God.” —Leviticus 19:9-10

Working with Knox Area Rescue Ministries and the people behind Corners of Your Field, we scripted a series of spots as well as a longer combination video (found below) communicating what COYF is all about. You could see this in your church soon:

The footage (sans the wheat field shot, which is stock footage) was shot with the Nikon D90 (yes, you read that right) which took some coercing, and really wasn’t ideal, but it fit the budget. Audio was recorded separately with a lapel mic (into my Macbook Pro). We built a custom “dolly-on-the-cheap” inspired heavily by Chase Jarvis’ setup. The project was a lot of fun to work on, and I learned quite a bit.
